About Us

Hello, we are Charlie & and Rosie, a British couple keen to travel and explore the world.

After the world was turned upside down in 2020 we contemplated 'Are we happy and is this where we want our lives to go?!'

And with that, we sold our belongings, quit our jobs and bought a one-way ticket to South East Asia in 2022.

Since then we have been to Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia and Cambodia.

From November 2023, we heading to the land down under (Australia) to convert a van and drive around the coast of this humongous country.

We hope that documenting our journey will inspire you and potentially help you plan your own travels.

Who are we?

Hi. I'm Rosie...

I am the researcher, planner and organiser of the two of us. I love to cram as much as possible into one day to see as much as possible.

I am, however, not the easiest person to travel with. I'm scared of most things, I'm clumsy, I get travel sickness and I'm a sweaty mess. But apart from that I am great company.

Although I am not the organiser nor do I have much say in the planning, I will add the adrenaline to our trip.

Swimming, surfing, skydiving - I will give it a go. So if it scares the life out of Rosie, I will probably love it. Despite the plan, I’m coming along for the ride.
